Labour Pricing
All prices are for labour only unless otherwise stated. Final pricing depends on subfloor condition, room layout, and any additional prep work. A minimum project charge of $350/day applies to smaller jobs. Get a free written quote before any work begins.
Pricing varies by flooring material, plank width, and installation method.
Durable, affordable options installed as floating or glue-down systems.
Includes measuring, cutting, and fastening. Caulking and painting available at additional cost.
Extra precision required for a safe, seamless finish. Custom staircases (open spindles, winder stairs) are $150–$250 per step.
Removal of existing flooring to prepare for new installation. Disposal bin or designated area must be provided by the homeowner.

Flooring Types
Traditional solid wood planks, typically 3/4" thick. Nail-down installation over wood subfloors. Can be sanded and refinished multiple times over its lifetime. Best for main floors and bedrooms.

Real wood veneer over a plywood core. More dimensionally stable than solid hardwood — handles Alberta's dry winters and humid summers better. Can be glued, floated, or nailed down.

High-density fibreboard core with a photographic wood layer and protective wear coat. Floats over the subfloor — no glue or nails. Durable, scratch-resistant, and budget-friendly.

100% waterproof rigid-core planks that look like hardwood. Ideal for kitchens, bathrooms, basements, and anywhere moisture is a concern. Floats over almost any existing subfloor.

We install hardwood, laminate, or LVP on staircases — treads, risers, and nosing. Stairs require more precision and time than flat floors, which is reflected in per-stair pricing.

We supply and install baseboard trim to finish off any flooring project. Baseboards cover the expansion gap between the floor and wall, giving every room a clean, polished look. Available in a range of profiles to match your home's style.

You supply the flooring — we handle the installation. We're labour-only, so you purchase your materials from whichever supplier you choose and we take it from there.
Yes — we require 50% of the total project cost as a deposit on the day the work begins, with the remaining 50% due on the day the job is completed. This is outlined in your written quote before any work starts.
No — all listed prices are before GST. A 5% GST charge applies to all labour services as required by the Canada Revenue Agency. Your final written quote will show the subtotal and GST as separate line items so there are no surprises.
A typical 500–800 sq ft main floor takes 1–2 days. Stairs add half a day. Larger homes or complex layouts take longer. We'll give you a firm timeline in your quote.
Yes — the area needs to be clear before we arrive. If you need help moving furniture, we do offer that service. Per-room and whole-house rates are listed in our pricing above.
Yes — we serve all of Alberta. Whether you're in Edmonton, Red Deer, Lethbridge, or a rural property, we'll make the trip for the right project. Travel may be factored into the quote for jobs far outside Calgary.
Alberta's dry winters and warm summers cause wood to expand and contract. Engineered hardwood and LVP handle this better than solid hardwood. If you want solid hardwood, proper acclimation (5–7 days on-site) and a humidifier in winter are important.
